Description

As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be a key member of the senior executive team, responsible for shaping and executing the key financial strategy of the business. 
You will be reporting to the board and CEO, you will be required to lead the finance function, supporting the company's growth ambitions and long-term vision. 

You will play a critical role in partnering with senior leadership team to identify and deliver strategic initiatives, including international expansion, product diversification, and preparations for the future. 


Requirements

Candidate Profile: 
  • Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leader.
  • Background in consumer products, FMCG, or related e-commerce sectors.
  • Strong commercial experience at Director level with a focus on driving profitability and growth. 
  • Demonstrate experience in scale-up environments.
  • Excellent communication at all levels plus stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. 
  • You need to have a strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach when needed. 
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a solid technical foundation.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Lead and develop your on and off shore finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Provide strategic and commercial insight to support decision-making and growth strategies. 
  • Optimise cash flow, working capital, and balance sheet management. 
  • Develop and implement robust financial controls, ensuring compliance and risk management. 
  • Act as a key liaison with the private equity sponsor, ensuring alignment on value creation initiatives. 
  • Partner with the CEO on M&A opportunities and advise when and where to take action.
  • Support, report and advise funding, and capital structure planning. 
  • Work closely with external advisors and stakeholders.
