Freight Sales Leader  – Air, Sea & Road Freight
As the Freight Sales Leader   you will responsible for the strategic growth, direction and overall profitability of the Freight sales and performance as well as building and developing an extensive Freight client base.
You will be working closely with the National Sales Director wider sales teams and interfacing with
the operational teams in the UK and Europe.
Duties:
  • Align the Freight sales strategy with the overall business strategy
  • Drive the business Freight sales and wider team to delivering Revenue and Gross Profit Targets
  • Generate Freight business leads, follow the whole sales cycle and ensure smooth transition into operations
  • Design and implement bespoke Freight solutions for clients
  • Create innovative and entrepreneurial solutions, maximizing efficiency of the network.
  • Be receptive to changing trends in the Freight Industry space and offer strategic direction to increase market share
  • Approach sales from a strategic, long-term perspective, building relationships with expanding companies

Responsibilities

 Responsibilities
  • Collation of all Export documentation, such as Hawbs / Mawbs / Customs formalities / post flight / invoicing / security procedures / routing of shipments / airline liaison / transport request and reporting / Crosstrade movements, from start to finish
  • Cutting Airway Bills
  • Customs – to ensure custom documentation is in accordance with supplier’s instructions including IPR / OPR / Export Licenses entries.
  • Invoicing – to ensure invoicing is completed daily where required and as per customer’s requirements / deadlines.
  • Transport; arranging and liaising with driver
